Alu – Alu Kitchen located at Lorong Mangga 1, Kolombong has recently introduced their “farm to table” Dim Sum menu concept. What’s more interesting about their menu is that most of their ingredients such as Tiger prawns, fish, chicken and vegetables are from their own farm located at Kinarut and Tuaran. Their vegetables and chicken are organic produce while their Tiger prawns and fishes are free from any chemical.
Apart from using only fresh and organic produce, their Dim Sum menu also have variety of choices to choose from. Alu – Alu Kitchen ensure that not only their dishes are infused with tasty and fresh flavors, but also healthy and safe food to be enjoy by their customer with their family and friends.
Although I have never tried those famous “Sia Loong Pau” at Din Tai Fung but I really love how flavorful the soup and silky smooth the filling inside. The flavor literally burst inside my mouth that make me do the ‘happy dance’. I also love the”Har Kau”. The prawn is soft and steamed to perfection. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the prawn itself.
The Lau Sa Pau have rich Salted Egg Custard filling. The flavors is indescribable. Although I do not have many place to compare with the one at Alu – Alu Kitchen but I could say that this one is the best I had eaten so far. Other than Siau Loong Pau, Lau Sa Pau and steamed BBQ Chicken pau, I also fall in love with their Deep Fried Yam Puff “Wu Kok” RM6.50. The Wu Kok filling is full with flavor and the outside is very crunchy as well.
