Kota Kinabalu International Bike Week or shortly known as KKIBW is an international event held for the second time at Kota Kinabalu. The event was held for 3 days during weekend. Started from last Friday 28th September until today 30th September. Bikers from all around Sabah, Labuan, even from the neighbouring state and country come to gather and support Kota Kinabalu International Bike Week.
Anyway, it’s no longer a secret that my other half has a thing for big bike. He love his Kawasaki Z900 to the point that I might feel slightly jealous over the bike. It even come to a point where we talk about naming our future children “Harley”. Nope, I’m not kidding. I even agree because the name is cool and universal, can be use for son or daughter that we are fortunate to have. Child, if you are fortunate to read this on Mummy’s blog in future – this is how we got your name.
This is my first time to check out the Kota Kinabalu International Bike Week. My partner went to the event for 3 days straight. Hashtag obsessed biker. I was actually excited to see what’s going on during the event and I must say that it was quite an eye-opening. For someone who has a biker partner, it was cool to see a tons of others bike in the event. There are variety of model and size available. From the big and expensive Harley-Davidson, BMW to the normal 150 cc bike that we always saw on the road.
It was actually a good experience for me. There are tons of bikes around and also booth selling cool accessories for bike and awesome T-shirt. I’ll definitely going to steal B’s T-shirt! After strolling and accompany B checking out some accessories, we then ended up having Ayam Penyet and Teh O Ais for lunch there.
Thanks to B, I’ve finally be able to experiences my first time at the Kota Kinabalu International Bike Week. All this after I posted in IG that I have no content to write for my blog. Especially since all my weekend planning went south. #Bfinallyunderstandhint #bikerbabe
