Minimalist Bullet Journal Monthly Spread

Hey babes! I hope you all had a great weekday so far. Today I’m going to share my minimal #bujo monthly spread which I have been rocking since January. If you are interested with January’s monthly spread, you can read here. As for today, I’m going to share my February, March and April spread which all embodied simple and minimal design.

Before I went ahead to show you my #bujo monthly spread, I will briefly explain the reason why I keep everything simple and minimal. Bullet Journal for me is a no – nonsense and personal planning system. Sure, I will throw some doodles here and there but the main function is to ensure that all my to do list, pending appointments/events are in order so that I won’t miss anything. Apart from that, #bujo also convenient for me in case I have some ideas and I needed to jot it down quickly. I prefer to jot it down in my journal because I will always have it with me – anywhere and anytime.

I hope this will help you understand as most awesome bullet journal out there are adorned with water colors painting, sticker, wasi tapes and what not. While, mine remain as simple and minimal as I personally love. This is also the reason why I really love bullet journal as I can personalized everything to my own creativity. Anyway, without further ado, let check out my no-nonsense monthly spread.

The month of Chinese New Year, Valentine’s day and birthdays! Both my little brother and my fiancé birthdays fall on this month. It was also the month where we are busy with our Catholic Pre-Marriage Course and I needed a clear list of what we need to prepare ahead.

March was pretty intense. Even with my detail and early planning, things keep changing here and there. Especially with the Pre-Wedding photoshoot. I couldn’t remember how many times I have message my bridal consultant for date that is suitable for our busy schedule. At the end of the day, we have to applied for leave and settle all the things before April roll in. Adulting is really hard in March. *cries*

Can you believe it is the 4th months of 2019? Its seems like yesterday we were celebrating New Year and excited for the year to come. Similar to February and March, I keep April even simpler. No fancy handwriting because ‘April’ lettering did not come out nicely. I promised to work on my lettering if I have extra time in hand. For now, I will keep everything simple and minimal.

To be honest, I have pretty hectic schedules for the past few months and I’m very thankful for my systematic bullet journal. I even keep some reminder for my partner’s schedule so that we did not forget or miss out anything. With everything written down and plan, it also helped to control my anxiety. Phew!

Alright, I’m signing off for now. Till then x
